Zoom never opens the meeting

Whenever I select the Zoom app when opening a Zoom meeting, Switchbar opens the Zoom client, but then the meeting never actually opens. I assume this is because there is some issue in the way Switchbar is calling the Zoom client (maybe not passing the meeting info right in the call)

On the other hand, if I pick a traditional browser (like Chrome) in Switchbar, then the browser opens the Zoom client and the Zoom client opens the meeting correctly.

This defeats the purpose of having Zoom as an option for opening Zoom links directly, since I always have to choose a middleman browser like Chrome for the Zoom meeting to actually launch.

Does anyone else have this problem?

When I select Zoom itself to open Zoom links, it opens the Zoom client, but it does not actually open the meeting.

When I select a browser instead of the Zoom client, the browser opens the Zoom link, the browser launches the Zoom client, and the Zoom client starts the meeting.

Because Switchbar doesn’t seem to call the Zoom client in a way that actually opens the meeting, I am not able to use the feature of selecting the Zoom client directly.

This is still an issue as of Version 28.6.0
