I have WebCatalog versions of certain sites like Circle (where an iOS app exists, for example, but it is not compatible with macOS), and sometimes the spaces (communities on Circle) have videos that auto-play whenever the space is reloaded—like when WebCatalog updates and reopens the app again. I’d like a way to prevent that from happening—basically, a way to tell the browser, “no auto-play, please.” Extensions that do this exist for Chrome and other browsers; is there a way to make it a setting in WebCatalog?

We’ve made autoplay policy more strict in the latest version. Here’s the changelog:
Autoplay Policy
To reduce unwanted video/audio playback (especially with multiple tabs or subspaces), autoplay is now blocked by default until you interact with the website. Want to always allow autoplay? Go to App/Space Settings → General → Autoplay Policy. You can also configure this setting per subspace.
If that doesn’t work and you’d like to disable autoplay altogether, please let us know and we’ll work on something.
